Remote Ticket Entry (RTE) Users Agreement All RTE Users will accept responsibility and liability for all information provided and transmitted to MISS DIG System Inc. member facility owners and operators. Inaccurate or incomplete information submitted via RTE can result in damage to buried facilities, property, or cause injury or death. All RTE Users must have a basic understanding of the requirements for processing MISS DIG System Inc. locate requests and agree to attend a scheduled RTE training session with a MISS DIG System Inc. prior to processing locate requests via RTE All RTE Users will process all requests in accordance with the RTE, MISS DIG System Inc and Michigan State Rules, Regulation and Guidelines. RTE is intended solely for professional excavators. MISS DIG System Inc. reserves the right to deny RTE authorization to any organization and/or person for any reason. MISS DIG System Inc. reserves the right to suspend and/or discontinue RTE privileges to any organization or individual at any time for any reason without prior notice. Individual homeowners and those excavators not given authorization will be required to call 1-800-482-7171 to process all locate requests. All individuals using the RTE system will require separate user accounts. RTE Users found processing locate requests with User accounts not assigned directly to them will result in loss of RTE privileges for their organization. All RTE Users agree to read and acknowledge any and all warning messages and prompts that are displayed throughout the RTE ticket processing system. All locate requests must be made via 1-800-482-7171 until the user completes the training class held by MISS DIG System Inc Emergency notification requests cannot be submitted online and must be processed by calling 1-800-482-7171. All RTE Applications will be processed as soon as possible after received by MISS DIG System Inc. REQUIREMENTS: An IBM compatible PC running Microsoft Windows 98, NT 4.0 SP6, 2000, XP, Vista or Windows 7 with .Net Framework 1.1. NOTE: A valid copy of Microsoft Windows is required by Microsoft in order to use the .Net Framework 1.1. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher is recommended. Must be able to list http://*.missdig.org in the Trusted Sites in order for the .Net Framework to run. A basic understanding of the internet and basic computer skills is recommended. As a Remote Ticket Applicant, I agree with and will adhere to all of the above conditions and understand that the above requirements may also change and be modified by MISS DIG System Inc. without prior notice. It is my responsibility to routinely check with http://www.missdig.org for any updates to this Agreement or the RTE Processing Guidelines. It is understood that I am the only individual within my organization that is authorized to use my User account information to process locate requests via RTE. Additional individuals within my organization wishing to use RTE must submit separate applications.
